Post-Asemic Press is a small press imprint from writer, artist, and independent curator Michael Jacobson. Post-Asemic Press will publish works of asemic writing, abstract calligraphy, punk calligraphy, undeciphered scripts, wordless writing, Lettrisme, experimental literature, post-graffiti, alien writing, poem brut, ultra-free writing, abstract comics, vispo, proto-writing, text art, avant-garde poetry, and anything else he finds interesting. At first, all of the titles will be in black & white, but eventually he would like to publish full color works. Post-Asemic Press is based in cyberspace on THATplanet with a physical office on Earth in Minneapolis, Minnesota USA. For the crowd funding campaign, Post-Asemic Press is donating a signed copy of Somnolent Game by publisher Michael Jacobson.

Somnolent Game is a prose poetry novella about a bot maniac who has achieved sentience due to someone else’s fragmented memories. He is an insomniac and is trying to escape violence and dream his way into paradise. Along the way he has many mental challenges that he must overcome. The story is written in a quick stream-of-conscious writing style that reflects the author’s actual thought processes along with memories both real and fictional.
