Please send unpublished poems for Bywords.ca’s April issue. Deadline is March 15, 2024. If you’re a current or former Ottawa resident, student or worker, you are eligible to send us poems. Send a bio, your connection to Ottawa, if you don’t have a current Ottawa address, and up to five poems. Poems published are considered for the 2024 John Newlove Poetry Award, which comes with money, editing advice, chapbook publication and a reading at the fall edition of the Ottawa International Writers Festival, so it’s a sweet prize.
