The AngelHousePress 2023 Crowd Funding Campaign is now finished. We surpassed our target by 37%! Thank you to our backers and to the artists, presses and journals that supported the campaign. And to all who shared the campaign. I am over the moon that we are once again able to pay our contributors this year. I extend my warmest gratitude to the global small press community which has supported us in 2022 and 2023. With great thanks to this year’s artists, presses and journals : above/ground press, Anstruther Press, Arc Poetry Magazine, battleaxe press, Book*hug Press, Brick: A Literary Journal, CAROUSEL, The Caseroom Press, Coach House Books, Collusion Books, Ethel Micropress and  Zine, Frog Hollow Press, Gap Riot Press, Gordon Hill  Press, Hem Press, Horsebroke Press, Knife Fork Book, Metatron Press, Geoffrey Nilson, pagefiftyone press, Palimpsest Press, Post-Asemic Press, Red Mare, ROOM, Sarah-Jane Crowson, Sigilist Press, Steel Incisors, Timglaset Editions, Trickhouse Press, Turret House, Vallum Contemporary Poetry Magazine and Yavanika Press.
Stay tuned for NationalPoetryMonth.ca in April, which will feature visual poetry and poetry, asemic writing, virtual reality, erasures, and collages from contributors from Asia, Europe, North America and Oceania. As well as the poetry and visual poetry on NationalPoetryMonth.ca, this Substack will be hosting bonus content from the contributors who will talk about the work featured on NationalPoetryMonth.ca and gives us a bit more information about their poetic practices.
Thank you for your attention, your warmth and your community-spirit.
I intend to run the campaign again in 2024 at the same time. If you are a small press or magazine publisher and are interested in donating publications and swag to the campaign, please contact me at amanda @ angelhousepress dot com.
If you are interesting in donating to the Caring Imagination How To Guides project in which I am commissioning guides that will help creators and cultural workers who wish to make, produce and disseminate art with compassion, please be in touch.
your fallen angel,
Amanda Earl
