as i go back on various dating apps and am bored, i thought i'd make a dating profile in song. it's really nerdy. hope you like it :) this is my dating profile what a silly thing to do to take a chance that you will be somewhat silly too I like to take long walks and drink Guinness at a pub I’m not much good at small talk or being part of groups or clubs I’m looking for kindred misfits like me you might not like to be called a misfit but here’s what I mean by misfit you question convention and sometimes break the rules if you could do it all again you’d probably skip more school a good time out is a long talk that meanders through the mire stopping by the imagination to sing a song or stoke a fire you doodle and you like to play with words you have a penchant for the surreal and the absurd you might groan at my puns but you have your own too to which I will also groan you tend to other living beings you let yourself be tended to too you’ll let me take care of you when you are sick I will bring you a bowl of soup You are hopeful you are honest and you’re just trying your best to live a life with compassion and all the rest you’ll bring me good smelling flowers and we’ll make up all their names I’ll make up songs for you and sing them every day I’m looking for kindred misfits like me you might not like to be called a misfit a song for everyone who's trying to find connection in this miasma of zeroes and ones.
