Sending so much empathy to you. I have had to make huge changes to diet too - no processed foods, hardly any carbs. It takes some getting used to and meals are just dull repetition - it's hard to get interesting things isnt't it? xxxx
I have many food restrictions too, and having a husband who knows how to make delicious food within those restrictions is such a gift! It makes me happy to know you have that too.
That’s how I feel about it too. It’s exciting to be travelling parallel food adventure paths. My bloodwork came back yesterday and they want to do more testing to see what’s up with my body.
Bodies are strange and wondrous and sometimes infuriating constructs. But I’m so glad to be here. I’m going to try to look after mine so I can see Halley’s Comet for a second time when I’m 85. That’s my goal. A little weird goal. But I like having something absurd and whimsical to look forward to.

I'm really fortunate. My meals, thanks to my husband's creativity and support, are amazing. I eat way better than i ever had. And cheaper too.

i feel a certain privilege since we can still get affordable food by shopping around local stores. i know it's not always affordable in some places.
Absolutely. And I’ve heard that grocery prices have gone up even more in ON than they have here in SK which makes it tricky for some people too.
Our family has a similar list of things we can’t (and shouldn’t) eat.
I’m grateful to you and your emphasis on joy and excitement around the foods we can eat. I’m excited too!
Thanks. I see this as a world of discovery rather than a restriction.

Hoping the bloodwork turns out ok. Seeing Haileys Comet at 85 sounds beautiful
